Overview:
In Photoshop 101 (Essential for beginners), we discuss the basics of Adobe Photoshop. We discover the app and how the app applies to photographers. As we review the tools, I point out which tools I use when I edit. I will emphasize the tools the photographers use most.
Requirements:

You will learn:
Lesson 1: Introduction to the Photoshop
1. Getting to know the work area. Module positions.
2. Toolbox, canvas and palettes.
3. Using the File Browser - Bridge.
4. Vector vs. Raster based images.
5. Create New Doc - Resolution for 300dpi print and for 72dpi for web.
Lesson 2: Basic Photo Corrections
1. Color Corrections using the Curves Palette.
2. Cropping, Automatic color adjustments, tonal adjustments, color replacement.
3. Dodge and Burn tools as well as other methods - soft light layer burn/dodge.
Lesson 3: Colors
1. Switching the foreground and background colors.
2. Using the Swatches Palette.
3. Choosing colors - creating custom gradients, color tints.
Lesson 4: Working with Selections
1. Magic Wand, Marque tools, lasso tools, Transforming Selections.
2. Create a selection from layer, Adding and subtracting from a selection, Inverting a selection.

Photoshop 102
Overview:
In Photoshop 102 - we discuss lighting and diffusers - awesome!! We review strobes and speed lights. We move on to the shoot. We will shoot with purpose as if we were hired for a specific shoot. We shoot the subject. Then we edit using certain photoshop tools I've gone over in 101.
Requirements:
- Your own laptop with Photoshop CS4+
- Your camera digital slr and lens.
- Card reader.
You will learn:
Is a hands on workshop. We will determine our final image - shooting with a purpose. We will work with a subject/model and figure how to light them. You will learn:
- Determine your final image and how to plan your shoot.
- Types of lights to use.
- About light modifiers.
- How to light your subject. Studio or Outdoor.
- Edit your image or create a composite image.
